Can I request a custom order?
Absolutely! Please email us at casamadrekelley@gmail.com and we can get started! 

What are your shipping charges?
Most items ship US for $4.00, and subsequent items are just $2 more. If you have an order over $100you will automatically receive free shipping!

Do you ship internationally?
YES! And we have shipped to several countries outside the US. Customs fees and duties may be applied once your package reaches its final destination. Madre Beads is not responsible for these fees. 

How fast will my items get here?
Current orders are on a 2-week turnaround. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Do you accept returns?
If you are unsatisfied with your order, we will do everything to make it right. You may return your unused item in its original packaging within 1 week of receipt. Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees. *Custom orders and OOAK items are not eligible for return, as those items cannot be resold.

What are Madre Beads made of?

Madre Beads are made of wood! The beads are strung on soft and stretchy tee-shirt jersey fabric.

Our natural beech wood beads are non-toxic, untreated and smooth, made with no chemicals. Kelley uses vegetable, fruit and herb dyes to add a stain of unique color to certain beads. These are then rubbed with our olive oil and beeswax Bead Balm to treat and condition the wood. 

Glazed beads are made with non-toxic finishes that have been tested for durability and safety. 

How do I clean my items?

I recommend washing your Madre Beads before your first wear with baby and regularly after baby has handled and chewed on it. You can hand wash your Madre Beads in mild dish soap with warm water and let it air dry.  You can also wipe them down with baby wipes when on the go!

We recommend you do not soak or leave wood beads underwater; this may dry them out. Conditioning wood with organic Bead Balm regularly will create a seal and help protect them. 

If you wish to sterilize your teething jewelry, you can submerge your teething necklaces/bracelets in boiling water for a few minutes. The best option is to boil water, remove from heat, and submerge teething necklaces or bracelet. Be careful when removing it, anything submerged in boiling water will be  EXTREMELY hot and could cause burns. Do NOT microwave.

Always inspect teething jewelry before use. If you notice any damage, discontinue use and please contact us immediately at casamadrekelley@gmail.com.
